1) The population of China : China has 1,400,000,000 people, which means if you are one from the million, there still will be 1400 people same as you.

Because of such a large population, the competition in China is so strong. We are taught to study hard and realized we needed to compete with each other when we were young. I think this thing is good on the one hand, but also not good on the other hand. Competition promotes progress, so most of Chinese students study very well, especially in math. Their math levels are higher than the same age students in other country, which may will be a big superiority of China in future. But because of that, we also pay too much attention to the grade, so that sometimes we may neglect other important elements of students.

2) Internet development : 1 in 8 couples who got married last year met online, and there are 845 million people active in Facebook. If it is a real country, it will have the third largest population in the world, only smaller than China and India.

Internet develops so fast these years, and it changes our life a lot. For example, there are more and more people would like to use the Internet, like Facebook, to communicate with others. It can make the relationship between them intimater, and make the communication be easier. It also gives people a chance to meet someone they may will never know in the real life. Therefore, people will have a broader circle of acquainted, contact with more different people, even include their wife or husband in future.

3) We are living in exponential times, there will be 31 billion searches in Google per month.

This also is the representation of the Internet development, and I think it is the biggest benefit of the Internet. We can search the information we need much easier after we have Google. Because of that, resource sharing becomes much more convenient, and we can have more available information to use, don't need to spend a lot of time looking for it.
